Dr. Marcy Thurmond Simmons is the founder of Integrative Arts Creations, Inc. a nonprofit organization that was born out of a vision to use fine and performing arts as an integrative tool to increase student achievement and preserve the importance of arts education.
The mission of IAC is to preserve creative arts and contribute to the development of the whole individual by delivering programs that will enhance cognitive, affective and social skills via arts integration.
